see the part where it says intended for off road use only?

is there something about carbon fiber hoods thats not good to use on the street? is it legal? whats up with that statement on their site?

It's because the latch doesn't work as well as it should. It could come flying up and hit your windshield without hood pins. Ask bucknutty about that.

pretty much anything aftermarket that you buy for your car which is performance related will supposedly be for off road use only. they put that because some states have strict laws on auto modifications and because the things arent factory type of products. just get hood pins with your cf hood and you will be fine.

if you get a carbon fiber hood GET MAFUGGIN HOOD PINS!!!!!11!!

This is why they say its for off road use only...went through two windshields...one the day before i installed my pins and two days before i moved :(





EDIT: I miss my hood looking nice, and my old front end :(
