79724, What color should I paint my stock 5 spokes? Posted by JWoodley, Dec-21-04 08:10 PM
The color of my car is magenta grey pearl. All opinions are welcome, I'm planning on doing this job this weekend.
Paint colors and paint brand recommendations are greatly appreciated! I have an airpowered spray gun, I was pondering automotive paint.
Thanks!
IM me for a pic of my car's color!

I like gunmetal better than black.

Heres a pic of some gunmetal ones I painted about 2 months ago for a member here. They came out pretty sweet considering it was a rattle can job with dupli-color and 6 coats of clear. The ones in my sig are painted with header paint and 15 coats of clear. Just make sure you use a bonding agent before the primer coat. I followed with etching primer then paint. Its been a year and like 15,000 miles and only one chip that I did with a ratchet when its guts broke. Only temp though till I break down and buy some rims in the spring whoo hoo.

Eh...I wouldn't paint your rims this weekend unless it's in a heated place. Wait until Spring or somethin when it's warmer. And gunmetal with a polished lip. :D
