Hey guys. I currently have my interior a blue/black finish, I painted the pieces with the blue Duplicolor interior vinyl paint. To put it simply, I'm not completely satisfied with it. I'm wondering what I can use to make it better. I've been told that I might be able to have the pieces powdercoated in my desired color. I've also seen interiors that look like they took the exterior paint and painted their interior, like Aggression's car. His silver interior in sick. So if you see this Aggression, let me know!! I dont want to do the whole interior blue like Aggression did, I want to keep the interior black, possibly paint the interior black, just like Aggression did his silver, but do the blue sections the same way. I want that insanely awesome look like he has. Let me know!!

Agression has a full fiberglass dash he doesnt have vinyl. You simply cant powdercoat anything flexible of anythign that can handle 500+ degrees.

You cannot powdercoat plastic. The way it is done is by negitivly charging the part to be coated, and spraying positivly chaged powder onto it. Then the part is baked at about 500 degrees. The way that I painted my interior was I sanded everything down with 60 grit to remove the grain. Then you go over it again with 220 grit to smooth it out more. Then prime and wet sand with 600 grit until it is very smooth. Then paint and clear. After that wet sand the clear with 1200 to 1500 grit and rub it out with a rubbing compound, 3m makes a good one. Don't wax it for a month. After that, if its done right, you can treat it like the paint on the outside of your car. I will post pics as soon as I figure out how. Hope this helps

Two double posts? Forum is acting up maybe? But ya the only way to paint interior is with paint, my advice is maybe fiberglass the peices you want painted that way?
