its coming along. i remember what a pain in the ass molding everything was on mine. i had never done any kind of body work before so it was alot of trial and error. :) but well worth the experience. r u going to shave your door handles?? i know it just puts more time into it but believe me it is worth it to do all that u have been thinking now then to go thru and do it a 2nd or 3rd time, like me. keep it up and start working on that fucker. gotta stay motivated, u can do it ......

i gave u some points u deserve it for what u are tackling, its no walk in the park..

ya its deff not easy. i dont think im gonna shave my handles though. i have been thinking about it alot but i just dont think im gonna do it really. honestly, the reason why, is because i dont feel like throwing in 130 bucks for the kit, lol. i thought of a cool idea though for the door handles. i dont have a pic or anything but i will photoshop one up when i get home from work tonight, but you know how the plastic handle you pull on opens the door, well i thought about shaving around that. like the outer lines. its kind of confusing to udnerstand, but i think it would look pretty cool. i will make a pic later tonight and post it.

at a show there was a guy who was from cali and he did just that. shaved the line all u saw was the handle and he shaved his key holes alos. looked good. as long as u have an alarm to lock and unlock u will b fine. if you chose to do that make sure that u take out the door handle and grind to bare metal. also get soem epoxy (hopefully u used that for the body kit, stronger than a regular glue, they use it on vettes and stuff like that) and glue in the handle. u dont want it to flex at all of all the pretty work will crack out. then just smooth it in.. it really wouldnt be all that hard but will look good.

no i didnt use any epoxy for my widebody actually. i used SEM glue which rated 1.5x stronger than corvette epoxy, i also used pop rivets so im thats deff not going anywhere. when i put the first fender flare on, when the glue was dry and the rivets where in, i actually tried my hardest to rip it off to see how strong it was going to be, well it didnt freakin budge so no worries about that. plus all that duraglass molding it on, duraglass is strong shit man.
and for the door handles, im not shaving the keyhole. just around the handle.

Comming alone nice mike, lot of work. Next tiem grind the rivits out. they loosen up due to flexing later one and show up in the paints finish, i have seen it happen on shitty quarter hangs. Does look nice though, make you really respect a bodyman's business dont it...lol
