Who were the two folks on here who were doing these? Someone was doing the Short shifter for free and someone else would do the center tailight section for cheap. Can you two guys email me so I can set something up with you. scothern@wowway.com

or...you can do the shifter yourself. seriously, it took me like 10 minutes to decide, draw lines, cut it with a hacksaw (its hollow btw...not solid) reposition everything, clamp, tack, weld. if you dont have your own mig welder then have a local muffler shop tack and weld everything up. pay the man like $5 or so for his time and be done with it. no waiting, and youll be paying less for that then the shipping costs even if people were doing it for free.

Me too actually. The B&M is solid, not hollow like the stock one. I bought a universal sparco shift knob that had a really wide base, that way I was able to just cut the shifter with no welding. Most people don't like universal shift knobs but I never had a problem with the Sparco coming loose. Because the stock one is hollow, if you cut it too much it won't line up right, plus they have been known to break at the welds.

This is the knob I had. It has a small wide base that is held on with 3 torx screws and then the shifter knob just screws on.

Here is a B&M going for $40.
