Those of you who have experiemented with several different types of "blue" bulbs:

Which brand makes the bluest headlight bulb. I keep getting these ones with blue tinted glass that shoot white. Basically, I want the closest thing to HID bulbs possible.

HID isn't blue because of some tinted glass. It's blue because of the gas used to create the light. Any blue tinted glass light doesn't look close to HID at all, it looks like ricer blue and is actually illegal in many states.

If you want bright ass fuckin lights get Sylvania Silverstars. It will cost about $100 for all for lights but they're worth it, unlike all those piece of shit blue glass bulbs out there.

I know the difference between HID and tinted bulbs, I just want the ricer-est blue/purple wanna be bulbs as possible.

Nokya's are ridiculously good imo. I love em, I dont have em yet becasue I just got my stock headlights 3 weeks ago, but i'm gettin em. a friend has them on his old as MarkVII and it is blinding but legal-ish

I had tried all PIAA!

from 4100K to 7500K.
PIAA 7500K is very blue and purple... but, not bright at all.
If you put that on high beam, you will see some blue and purble light coming out ~~~~~!!!!!

I am using HID now. It is the only way to get bluish white and bright light. I am using PHILIPS 7000K.

get Nokya, i had them for the longest time and they worked awesome. They were a nice blue tint but not obnoxious. And still quite bright specially on the high beams. Now i have cool blue sylvanias and they SUCK ASS!

Yea I had Sylvanias and they were decent but wasn't really thrilled. If I remember I will try and take pics of my Nokyas tonight.

I don't have any pictures, but I love the look of my Silvania Silverstars. Extremely white (much better than ricer blue) and very bright (that is the point right).

I hope to go to HID in the future, but until then, it is white for me. Sorry, no pictures.

This picture sold me. That purple-ish look is exactly what I was looking for. I bought some Nokya Arctic Purples with a 8500 color-rating. I also got the wiring harness upgrade. All for $35 shipped, off of ebay. Great deal.

This will look pimp on my toyota mr2 spyder. I am upgrading the headlights (i have the 2001 model) to the '03 projector style.
