Hey all i need help installing a new gauge kit for my 1999 GS. I basically just need to know how to remove and disassemble the stock gauges. Do i have to remove the needle? if so is it hard and should i take it too a profesional? Please if you have any tips on installation please let me know!!!!

mine just slipped over the needles and clipped into place.

whatever you do, don't touch that needle. The gauges should be able to slip over them

Well my gauges came with a transformor or an "inverter" that has 4 plugs and the gauges have 2 plugs, so im wondering which of the 4 plugs the gauges go into.

doesn't matter. just plug them all in ans stash the inverter in the left side of the dash....theres a space behind your cruise switches.

if you do have to remove the needles make sure you remember the position you took them off in and use a golf tee tool. what i did with my indiglo gauges was stash the inverter and wiring behind the steering column. if you want a really easy way to wire them up, run the power with into one of the lil bulbs behind the gauge cluster that light up with you turn on the lights and then ground them to a good bolt

there is actually a little more room on the right by the center consule
