looking for any pix of eclipse's with the double hump carbon hood installed. can anyone help?

nope there is a hood with 2 OEM style bumps on them...

no i dont think it is that one, i saw a guy with a maroon eclipse posted one on here a couple months ago, it has two big humps but no cut outs..

I think there's is more pic of it in the bits too...search around the same date as the the post I linked you too.

i've never seen a double OEM hump hood in production. Nor a reverse hump. There have been talks of it, but never any action.

I could definately be wrong if its an older product...i know damn near all body mods for our cars, but this doesn't ring a bell. :shrug

i like the way the one on the red car is done...but I believe those hoods are custom made from the factory one...'cause i've never seen them for sale... plus on those 2 pics, the vents are different on each(i personally like the top one)...

its none of those, like i said its like the 1st pic posted, with the two big humps, but no cutouts in it thats all, the one i saw on here was a maroon eclispe the hood was carbon, ive done a serch and cant find it anywhere...however i love that silver one, what hood is that? or is it custom?

they do not make a double hump carbon fiber hood. you could get a hood custom done and then carbon fiber overlay it. basically it requires to hoods and cutting the hump out of one hood and molding it into the other. ive seen it done its pretty slick, but as far as a cf one you would have to get it customly overlayed.

wasn't it Basikstylz that had the dual oem hump (they had cut outs though) cf hood? It was custom made and he had it painted but i'm sure he was the one with it. I did a search for his name but all of his pictures are no longer available. Maybe some of you have his car saved.
