why? i've rewired my kit more times than i care to remember and NEVER had to take the entire dash out. if worst comes to worst you can take out the driver seat and lie on your back under the front dash and do anything you want. if you need better access to the engine bay, just slit a small hole in the rubber that is around the steering colmn and run wires thru there.
just an idea.

unless your doing something really unique with your NOS, theres no need to remove your dash. that would be like removing your engine to change your plugs...
what are you needing to do? rund the lines and wires?

You still can. You just need to pull the center console and the two console side pieces and you have access to everything there. :)

Now Charger, don't take this the wrong way. I am concerned for your health! At the point you ask a question about removing a plastic slot thing, should you be hooking up your own NOS? Again no offense meant here. Please be careful!

To answer your question, you need to remove the trim ring from around your radio. Remove the center console:

Unscrew shift knob
Unscrew two screws above radio, two screws under ashtray/cup holder, and two screws on the sides in the back.

Then remove the 4 screws that hold the radio rack in and unscrew the 4 screws on the side that hold the pocket in.

Hope this helps.

...and then I said, "God be with us all, and especially those who have suffered a loss!"
