my old rims(ones I'm currently using) are in HORRIBLE shape, heavily curbed and scuffed and whatnot., and I wanna get them fixed.. what's the average cost of fixing and powercoating a rim(in this case, powdercoated black) or better yet... a set of rims...

You'll get some wild off the wall quotes. For AZ local peeps I can get a rim dipped for 10 bucks but when I first started looking they wanted 50 a rim. :shrug Yellow pages for you.

to have them just powder coated. your cost will be mainly the prep and cook time. rims first will be dipped and then sandblasted. oven time will be a least 2 hours per rim. i would figure 20-25 per rim for prep. and powder coating is based on powder color, powder material and cook time. i charge around 100.00 to powder coat if the guy has his rims cleaned before hand. 200-250 if he has not had them cleaned before hand.
