Well, the car came with the clear tails in the pic below... I sold them, got the altezza's when they were the thing(and i was a moron) and painted the center to match the car... I really dont think it looks 'too' bad... but I want your guys oppinions... Its hard to make the tails look nice with a stock red eclipse rear i think... You know what I mean... like some color cars, stock rears look SEXY.. like silver.. or blue for example... If you have any photo's of yours, or other ideas, please post them. Red cars only though for the most part...

I am trying to get my car a little lower on the radar... the Road Race Engineering liscenplate frame is gone now... and I figured it might be time for hte altezza's to say farewell?

Stock tails are seckzy IMO

If my car was red I would rock the stock tails. But since red is not in my color scheme, that is the only reason I don't have my stock tails on.

I say put the stockies back on with the painted center peice.

Stock tails with the letters pulled off the center piece. It looks kind of funny with the stock tails and the red painted center piece.

Anyone have pics of the stock left and right with the center color matched (red)? But i think your right, the whole 3 piece assembly looks nice debadged.

Smoke your all clears. That would be badass on your car. It would go witht teh stock headlamps, tints and the tails would complete that look. And its not ugly like altezas. Altezas remind me of genital warts and a smooth body.

your car would look hot with stocks tails and a painted center.

Really dark and old picture with my old digital camera but you can see how weird it looks with the painted center piece.

3 piece stockers all across, debadged is how it is going down, it looks like... I appreciate the help guys, should have posted before my dumbass ordered altezzas.

JWoodley is hooking me up with a 3 piece stock set for a good price. I hate to see the painted center go because it is so clean, so I might try it and see what I think about it..

second thought, it does look better with all 3 stock pieces, and not the center painted i think.... thats for the pics and insight! de-rice and stealth mode is under way.

how much was your spoiler from stillen?

came w/ the car dood, sorry... i bought it off my buddy that was into the rice scene.. err.. show scene... it was sponsored by a few companies, etc... had lots of money in dumb shit on it, so i sold most of it and put a lot back into the engine/trans... and the rest in other mods that fit my style... i kept the spoiler and front tho cause i think they are the hottest out there, on a red car atleast...

heres my setup w/ clears- i get alot of compliments on it, the red accents the car nicely in my opinion

This is what I did with my red car but try to think of using VHT nite shades and making a different design would be cool. I first started with all black tail lights that lit up red at night fine, but I got warned by the cops that if it cant been seen 500 yards away, then he was going to write me up. Well I sold them and did this instead. I like it alot and at night looks even more impressive.

Well, I already bought and paid for a set of stockers, so i am gonna try that for awhile i guess, maby play with it again down the road.

BTW, my whole trunk is a fiberglass enclosure with like 4 boxes off of it, 3 amp mounts and a a sub box, it is heavy as hell, and I have to lift the mother out enough to get to the tail lights... justa FYI, it takes me 2-3 hrs if i am doing REAL good to swap tails, haha... someday, the enclosure will go...

I went back to stockers, I did like the Altezzas on my red car. Please don't hate me.

This is something I don't think I have seen and would look good since your center peice is already painted.

Crack open your Altezza's and take them in to get the chrome part painted the color of your car. So it would look all red inside but still have the clear altezza lense on it.

It would be the first one that I know of, and I think it would look sweet too.

Just an idea, I like to do things differently so, this is my 2 sense.
