7659, Phillips HID kit Posted by dsm1, Sep-21-01 05:15 AM
Does anyone here have them in their car? I bought 2 ballasts with the bulbs off the trader, I need to know if i'm missing anything that comes with a new kit like relays or small ish like that. I know that i will have to upgrade the fuses, Here is a pic of what i have.

nah man. real hid's (like in lexuses and acuras) are not just a bulb. it's a whole system (as you can see from dsm1's picture). it works by some gas burning and producing the closest possible light to sunlight. dsm1, sorry bro, not too sure about that. just wanted to info everybody that you can't get as good a light as would come with the whole system with just a light bulb exchange. you need to get the whole kit like dsm1 did.
