I didn't really have anyplace to store my Niche 's when I took them off so they were under my porch covered with a tarp. I took them out today and noticed that the chrome on the inside is pitted and flaking. Is there any hope for them?
Can I get them re-dipped or are they junk. I was thinking of having them powder coated but they'd look pretty lame.
Any suggestions?

they'll run ya like 100-150 ea. to have them chromed again....

dude chances are that the original chrome was powder coated on. that's how they do it now even expensive companies like momo. i'd see about getting them re done unless you wanna sell them for a new style

Ok, so a few of you are interested in "projects".
What can be done and how much will it cost? I REALLY REALLY like these wheels. They look great on klipz' (surprising you don't see them more often). I WAS thinkin about selling them and gettin some 18" wheels cause they're only 17" but have decided to stick with them even though they look like shit right now.
From 10 feet away they still look good but I'd like them looking new again. Also, the guy who sold them to me rubbed a couple curbs (swears his GF did it) so there's a few rough spots that will have to get fixed also.
I'll probally take them off again as soon as they predict the first snowfall so, if any of you are lookin for a winter project, give me an estimate of what it's gonna cost....
