7602, GTS Tailight Covers Posted by RGS, Sep-19-01 04:23 AM
I am looking for some tailight covers for my 97 GS. Another 2NGT member (not sure who it is) has the type I like, with the round holes in them, not the V-tech slotted or the complete blackout. Any help in finding these would be great and appreciated...
Thanks-

Eclipse550hp, that's pretty lame man. Don't be selfish. Shie, if someone really wanted to find the type of paint to use on your 'special plastic' I'm sure they could, but don't be selfish. I'd just buy a set and do them to piss you off, but I don't think they're all that great.
Sorry for the 'rage', I just think it's immature to say 'it takes a special paint and I'm not telling you..'.....

I got a set of V-TECH's. They don't have slots, they got holes. If you want them, send me $20. I painted them red with some shit I found in my freinds garage. I originally had them on my black car so I never bothered painting them till I got my GS-T. I was gonna eventually have this kid I know paint them at a body shop for a case of beer but I bought altezzas. 20 dollas shipping included. If you want, I'll throw in the center piece from my altezzas which says "sports" for a nice even fiddy.

i have them on my car, check my sight. all you need is a special primer for plastic and regular paint. i dont know if the lexan will peel or not but mine have held up very well, and all i did was sand them with a 220 paper, sprayed the primer stuff and then the paint. came out real nice...
