75499, paint on window seals Posted by Eklypz420, Jul-30-04 05:36 AM
I got my car back from the paint shop and there are a few spots where they didn't mask the window seals very well and got paint on them. Anyone know how to get it off without ruining my seals? Thanks Jim

try those armorall(sp) pads. i think that's what i used, but i'm not 100% for sure. Just DO NOT get it on the new paint.

DO NOT use laquer thinner or paint thinner it will damage the rubber/plastic. Ask any body shop and they will you to use reducer. It is basically a super mild thinner without the damaging materials in it. you can get it at any paint supply store and its cheap.
