dude my shifter is for shit. it broke at the part with the welded bolt thinger that sticks threw the shifter rod. and i got a new one and satan put it on for me and now my shifter has TONS!!!!!!! of play. the spring pulls it al over. if i pullinto second it moves over and slides almost to where fourth used to be. like it doesn't pop outta gear it just has alot of play. i asked you cause you have tons of experience with our shifters. i was told that the "shifter gates" might be broken. wtf?? i thought maybe i need to re tighten those strut lookin things that connect with the bobby pins. i heard you can do that under neath the battery under the hood. what's up man?
