I can't stand the looks of the '00+ Imprezas, but I have to admit the WRX is an awesome car. I'm looking to get a 99 2.5RS sometime in the future. Nice pics though man. :thumbsup

Looks good man. If you see a guy named Osiris on the scooby boards this is his wrx. I love his. Its very fast for very minimal mods. Hes got an uppipe, downpipe, exhaust, pulleys, and a mbc. I believe thats it and hes beaten my other friend's sti with a bov and uppipe at the track. Good job on yours. I would say that the intake isnt doing much as well. He studied up on what mods would give the most hp for the least $$ and did them. He just has took out that silencer on the side and put an elbo connecting the front air scoop to the intake pipe.

That engine looks like such a pain in the ass to work on.

Car looks great though :)

I hear changing the sparkplugs is a HUGE PITA. gotta remove the ic and other shit i think
Edit: I put an up pipe on one and there were like 8-9 bolts holding the heatshield on as well as bolts attached to the uppipe. It took a while to find where all the bolts were but it wasnt that hard to work on. Also taken the intake silencer out of one as well.

cool dood. u like that bov? does it recirculate? i borrowed a hks ssq bov for 2 weeks, and it sounded pretty cool. i just did the intake silencer mod yesterday. its ok i guess, but its free.

yeah ever since ive put on my intake i have noticed a power loss...im in the process of purchasing a safc for her....that should straighten things out...especially since i DONT have my BOV recirculating....im running it atmospherically(sp?) but yeah, the engine IS a pita to work on....clogged as a mofo...NOTHING like the 420a....i kinda miss....NOOOO, NO i dont....thanks guys
