Hey I just had my car wrecked and They are goin to have to repaint it and get a new hood...soo.....I'm deciding between some paint I want to do and what cf hood to go with...the car was white with a little bit of blue pearl in it. I was thinkin about goin with the same colors just puttin more blue pearl. another color I was thinkin about doin is white with black??pearl maybe ? do they have this ?...if they do has anyone every seen it ?To go along with whatever color now I have the decision of CF hood. I like the EVOLUTION style hood but I haven't seen it in person what is everyones opinion on it ? my other choice of CF hood was the OEM style and maybe paintin over it with whatever color I decide to do with the car....I have pix of the car if that would help you see what would look the best just ask and I will send them to you...thanks....anyother paint or hood suggestions I would like to see if you have them...thanks

As far as paint color to go with I would have to say choose whatever color suits you. I painted my car blue because I like blue....DO NOT PAINT YOUR CF HOOD

invader hood or evo hood would be my choice. as for paint, whatever suits your taste and don't you dare paint that cf hood either!

i have the CF evo hood, but i don't have it on yet becuase my car is not done being rebuilt. as for color, i have black with blue metallic - mostly looks black, but in different angles it looks dark blue.

Hate to break it to you, but you might want to check with the insurance company. They don't pay for what they don't have to. They usually wont paint a whole car, unless the whole car is wrecked. Repaints of the same color are cheap compared to changing color.

To change color, you have door jams, wheel wells, and firewall, just to name a few. So unless you wrecked the entire body of your whip, they wont change color. If you did, then there is enough damage for them to total the car.

If you have an insurance company that will cut you a check. Make sure it's enough to do the job right.

i have already talked to the insurance company.....the paitn job that was already on it was a custom one ...which was white with blue pearl in it just not a whole lot....and they can't just match the paint for the front bumper of the body kit so the whole thing has to be repainted...I really like the idea of white with enough blue in it so that when the car drives by you can see the blue "flakes" in it...aight I get the idea of not paintin the cf hood....so..which style now ? i like the evo style but i haven't seen it in person to see if it looks good..anyone have pix of eclipses with the evo hood on them ?I have seen a site that has CF dash kits and on them they laced the CF with blue do any companies do this to hoods? ..thansk for the help
