74916, Anybody have any experience with the ding king??? Posted by LoweredEclipse99, Jul-13-04 05:35 PM
Hey what's up? You guys probably know how I'm feeling. Some A**hole decided to fire a rocket it looks like right at my driver door. They put a real nice ding in it. Just curious if anybody has any experience with the Ding King, and whether or not it works. Let me know, thanks.

I've had mixed results with it. But at the very least it'll reduce the dent a little and make it less noticable.

I own a paintless dent repair company and the process does work well... provided you find a qualified technician that has more than a couple years under his belt. We remove hundreds of hail dings from a car and you cannot see where they once were. We do use a glue pulling system as a last resort for pulling a dent that we cannot access from behind the panel, however, the dent usually gets pulled to high and you have to work it back down from the outside using special tools that the infomercial doesn't clue you in on. The only way to remove a dent perfectly is to masage it out from behind the panel.
I would contact a local paintless dent repair company that does it the right way. Usually they are mobile and will come right to you... and a minor ding will only cost you 50-80 dollars.
