I have a 1995 Talon. I don't like the smiley bumper. I like the 97+ Talon bumpers a lot and I like the 97+ Eclipse bumpers a lot. The plan is to run either a Talon or Eclipse front, 97+ Talon sides, 97+ Talon rear, and the "WANGAN" wing from Importfan (since it looks bitchin and I really want one). I am thinking the 97+ Talon front would suit the lines of the whole thing a hell of a lot better, but the 97+ Eclipse front still has its advantages... I'm torn. What should it be?

I vote stay Talon, plus the Wangan is HOT!

talon all the way...the 97-98 bumpers have matching raised areas....wouldn't look right if one had it and one didn't. Especialy if you get the 97-98 side moldings...not sure if you talking about those or skirts....did 97-98 come with skirts?

they look amazing IMO with the moldings that came on ESi's...check out ajna's sig for those. I hope too get some some day....hope they will look good with the 95 TSi side skirts. :7

97 Talon front, 95-96 Talon sides, either Talon rear but 97 is a little better, or do an eclipse conversion back there.

I did just the 97+ Talon front on my 96 with no door moldings and no raised piece on the back bumper and I think it looks good. And definetly get the 95-96 Talon sides. They still look good with the door moldings too. good luck finding those door moldings though, they are hard to come by. Check the link in my sig for pics.

Your Talon is damn nice. So you think it'd look better without the 97+ sides? I have the 95 ESi body so I think I have the same moldings as ajna_star. I was looking at pics of his car right before I posted this thread actually :) and I drove down to town just to stop and stare at some guy's 97 TSi. I am getting a deal on the 97+ front and rear so I might do both... still not sure yet... but after seeing your black Talon HOLY HELL it's nice. I want those rims :whoa

the Eclipse looks like a flying saucer from the back end (bad spoiler and worse taillights). no matter how it goes I am never gonna put on Eclipse taillights. fugly.

ECLIPSE OWNS TALON!!!!

Stay Talon for one reason.....if you go 97+ eclipse you need to change out your headlights. If you stay talon you do not and the front looks so much more agressive.

switch to 97+ front but make sure u get a stock 97+ headlights they look much better than aftermarket. i replace my 95 eclipse front to 97+ front and an aftermarket headlights. i modified it just to make it look different but still keep it stock.

w3rd. farmdogg knows his Talons. 97+ "widemouth" w/ the 95-96 "twist" skirts and caps and 97+ rear. That is the best talon imo

I agree completely! I love the look of the 97/98 Talon ends. I have the same as yours. A Green '97. I think that there is where the similarities stop though. The only thing that I have done is a set of 5 spoke and Dunlop FM901's (215/45-17) Eventually I will be doing some work on the suspension and driveline. I have a CB750 in need of some restoration right now.
