After 6 weeks in the body shop and them jerkin me around i finally got my car back. They did a good job imo from the amount of damage that was done to the car. here are some pics sorry for the crappy quality. I'll post better ones later.

Looks good. Did you get a new hatch with the turbo spoiler on it? Or did you put the GS sticker on yourself?

LOL yeah the bumper just had a lot of dirt on it from hitting the wall and rubbing and scraping off paint.

I got a hatch off a wrecked OZ edition eclipse and put it on mine, I am gonna take off that GS and mitsu sticker.

What happened? It looks like you backed into a flaming tree. Then the tree fell on your car.

It was raining really heavily and the water collects on this part of the road i was on. My back end came out and I couldnt correct it. I was sliding towards a cement guardrail and i didnt wanna hit the front so I spun around to hit the back end. Basically i hit a cement wall/rail at about 40mph.

you didn't get the center tail light painted???? It does look a lot better though, looks like my old eclipse from the back... *tear*

Actually there was $4000 worth of damage. Structural and otherwise. In that accident picture it kinda popped the bumper back out after i hit so you cant see it but the interior wall was pushed into where the spare tire was. They pulled it out as well as the rear 1/4 panel but the ins co let them buy a new rail kit for it. they did a really good job as far as i can tell so far but i still hate they had it over 5 weeks.

Edit: and BB: I had that centerpiece extra and it went to the shop with that in. My white center is still fine and is going back on tomorrow. ;)

Yeah it looks really good for that much damage. Reminds me of the time I was at a stop light... stopped, and some kid rear ended me going about 15 mph. Then his sister wouldnt stop crying like it was my fault and I had just scarred her for life. There was only a dent about the size of a baseball but the amount of damage done to my structure was insane. The quote was like 5k but they were rich so they didnt really care.. mofos. The best part was that he was in a old jeep and his whole guard thing in the front fell of with his front bumper.

Car looks nice they did a good job. 4000. sounds like they hung a new quarter and did plenty of welding.......let the fun begin. Hope you dont plan on keeping the car now.

Once quarter has been removed she will never quit rusting from the weld joints. I learned that the hard way.
