Well first I wanna say that I took everyones advise and painted my somewhat new valve cover the same color as my car... I just have to wait for it to cure to put it on.... whatcha think??

Now which hood should I stick with?? The Invader Hood... or my OEM CF HOOD??? You guys will decide what I do... so if I get more votes for the OEM, I'm selling the Invader and buying a new OEM CF HOOD... OR I might just keep the Invader for shows or something?? I dunno....

See... I'm like 50/50 with it right now which is why I'm asking everyone what they think. My friends are even 50/50... so I'm trying to get more opinions.

keep your invader on for a while, see if it grows on you. If you dont like it, then sell it and buy a new OEM CF one. ANd post some pics of your old OEM CF hood!

OEM the invader hood doesnt look right. Our cars have natural organic curves and the invader hood doesnt go well. But thats my opinion.

The OEM hood is something that is already original and unique to eclipses ONLY. Very sexy and nothing else compares.

Man I say go with the OEM. And sand the tops of those letters on that VC starting with like 220 and work your way up to 2000 or so. The polished letters would be a nice contrast.

your car is thoroughly clean and smooth. The OEM CF hood accents it well. the other would be more for an all out body kit car.

I'd go with carbon fiber on the spark plug cover.

and polish the raised letters on the VC

well i got the oem cf hood on my car but if you had your choice i would go with invader. its really a bad ass hood. if anyone has an invader and they really want that oem hood ill gladly trade. of course if i had my choice id go with the xtreme gt hood. i got a friend who turned his avenger into a complete eclipse front end and his hood looks bad as hell.
