74306, Repainting stock wheels

My stock wheels are disgusting. They have like oxidation or pitting around the center and have minor curb rash. I was wondering if there is a way to sand down and repaint the stock wheels. Anyone ever done this?

theres one off the search..
I think anything can be repainted, just a matter of knowing what your doing.
