Here are some pics of the progress some buddies and I made this weekend.

I reduced the picture size for those with 56k connections

These first two are of the fiberglass enclosure taken out:

These next two are of the inside framing of the stereo system:

The last two are of my car with the graphics taken off stock front back on while I prep the other one, and with my new tokico shock/struts on.

Love it man, looks way better with no graphics. I don't like that invader front that was on there either, it looked pretty hot with the r34 on there.

I'm going to say something that I never thought I would say. The car looks good without the graphics but for some reason I really liked it with the graphics you had on it. With or without, your ride still gets the :thumbsup from me!

Thanks man I really appreciate the compliments.

As far as the front is concerned I am in limbo as of right now. The invader front fits perfect and it sits nice and low, even though the R34 fits perfect too...it doesn't sit as low in the front. Actually its higher then the stock front. So I am going to sell the R34 front on here. I was just planning on putting the invader back on when it goes in for paint.

Or my other idea was to sell both the invader and R34 and get another front. I have no idea which one though. I really had my heart set on the R34 but it just sits to high for my liking. I might take my chances on another R34 and see where I am once the dust clears.

Thanks again for the compliments...means a lot coming from fellow 2gnters.

DAMN... that's going to look CLEAN!!! I can't wait to see the finished product!! it looks to me like our going to put a 12 or a 15 inch speaker in the trunk and two 10's or 12's were the back seat was. But I could just be looking at it wrong... either way cant wait to see it finished!!!

Your close...I am putting 4 12" in with 2 1000watt amps. 2 12" in the way back and 2 in the back seat. I am contemplating wether or not to relocate my battery in the back and attaching it to the diamond plate section. Oh well I will figure it out. Plus the good thing is I have learned a lot playing with fiberglass and this being my first attemp at it. Not to mention the money I saved in labor costs. But yah I am just as excited to see the finished product as well.

This week will consist of my and 2 big cans of bondo, sandpaper, and a lot of beer. I love the smell of bondo mixed up, but I can almost guarantee the smell will make me sick before I finish this enclosure.

I will post more progress pics later this week.

Oh yah I don't have pics yet but will later this week. But i removed the passenger side air bag so I can mold the tv in there and now that stupid SRS light comes on in the console. How do I get that to turn off?

Thanks guys

I think I am just gonna leave it...no big deal. I just didn't know if it was as simple as to get a blank connector piece and clip it in to fool the sensor that the bag was still there. But I am not worried about it enough to take it to the dealership to have them shut if off.

I'll just end up taking the blub out sometime this week. Thanks guys!

Im not sure if this works, but i had the dealership reset mine, it came back on since the bags are blown. But maybe it works on some? Just my 2 cent. Ps hit me up with some progress pics bro. Cuz im working on my fiberglass setup as of right now and could use pointers!! --Ryan

NP...I am going to do a fiberglassing step by step tutorial after I am finished. Its gonna cover materials needed, prepping, steps to take, and pictures for references.

I should be done with my car in about 2 weeks I would say.

I am sanding and bondo'in my balls off right now. I have no finger prints left. :wary :squint

^^^AWESOME. it would be great to have a page to reference too as far as fiberglass is concerned. ive given a lot of fiberglass advice in the past and having a visual reference would be great.

good luck man, and wear some gloves!!!!!
