73591, Thinking about a kit but what kind? Posted by Mattcky2k, Jun-13-04 06:18 AM
I was thinking of just doing some minor exterior mods cause i wanted that sleeper look but i'm really leaning towards going all out on the car now. but i don't want it to look ricey or like every other kitted eclipse. i know that sort of hard to achieve but that's what i want. So what do you guys think is the least ricey and cleanest style kit to get? i was also thinking of just an RSDSM chin spoiler and and aftermarket sides and rear but i dunno?

I like it! but you guys think it would look alright with the stock back bumper? or a different one than the BC2? that one just seems a little long on the sides or something.

I like that kit, but honestly not to be an ass, I hope a lot of people don't get that kit. I mean it's probably the best looking kit out. If too many people get it, I think that it's goin to become played out...just like the blitz kit!

werd, no1 else buy it. just kidding do what you want, in detroit the ONLY kit you ever see on an eclipse is a blitz, so im not worried about it at all.

I'm really surprised that more people haven't gotten the bc2 kit. Since the beginning of last year when I got mine, I've only seen maybe 6 or 7 eclipses with it. Recently it does seem like more people are getting it though. Only a matter of time before it becomes really cheap and starts getting played out like the blitz kit.

go with a full buddy club 2 kit...if not that then a sinsei front with low blitz sides...or jus go with teh OEM kit with a lip. All three of those options are teh mucho pimp.

well the more i look at willmayo's car the more i like that back bumper! :thumbsup but if you have some time on your hands could you take a close up pic of the front that shows the openings good and mabey a straight on shot of the back? i wanting to get a color change too and was thinking of some kind of dark, almost black, grey what do you guys think? and how much do you guys think it will cost to be painted? and that's just primered, color, and clear coat. no body work cause i plan on doing that myself with some friends and really getting the door jams sanded good and everything.
