73487, Clear coated Wheels Posted by Cherry Poppins, Jun-11-04 05:04 AM
I have polished and clearcoated rims. The last time i went to the car wash the clearcoat started coming off in big chunks on the front wheels.
Anybody know how to get clear coat off wheels? I have searched but havent found any more info than jus to sand them. I don't really wanna do that cause i don't wanna fuck up the surface beyond the clear coat.
TIA- Mandi

Wet sand it with a very fine grit.
