i broke my lip today..... =o( $205 down the drain.... had it less than a month...... that is all, im goin to cry now

Man I am sorry to hear that. I know how you feel man. I had just received my R34 front in the mail...took it to have it painted and the day I put it on I went to a car show. Now the next day when we were heading back home after the trophie hand outs a peice of a shredded semi truck tire flew up off the road after being hit by the van in front of me and hit my poor R34 front bumper doing about 90 mph down the interstate and smashed it. The truck tire was imbedded in my front.

Needless to say I had some fiberglassing to do on that bumper. Its fixed now but I know how you feel.

Just take a deep breath and just think...at least it didn't crack your front too.

I learned my leason before it happened....No more lip for me neither.

forgot to add...... is that kinda of material fixable??? ABS plastic??? it bent upward kinda like this ^....could somone add the right amout of heat and make it straight again....???

Take advantage of the broken lip if you can...do what I did lol...some liked it and some didnt...I couldnt take the bad criticism so I took it off.





I ended up selling the lip like it was cut up like that to some guy here on 2gnt for $70 shipped

I feel your pain. Before and after.

Yeah its sickening to break one. I had my first one for about a month before it broke, my second one about 5 months, and this third one for over a year and a half. Can you say LEARNING CURVE?

I have to be really careful, but sometimes I lose concentration and whack something good. It always sounds worse than it ususally is tho.

yeah it REALLY does suck.... 200 bucks is alot of dough for somethin so simple and......PLASTIC lol.....but any anyswers for my question about fixin it??? i know this one guy that fixed my urethane bumper, which 95% of people i asked said it couldnt be done... so hopefully he can pull through again... imma take a pix and show you guys, its not THAT bad, but its broken, so.....ill show tomorrow....

Those lips don't even sound like they are worth the hassle. All I hear about them is that they break to damn easy. I thought cf was stronger then that. HMMMM

Was your car lowered in front? If so, how much?

thats why i like the one that guy from canada on this board sells. its cheaper and doesnt hang as low as the original ones. i forget his name though you could prolly just do a search.

TOTalon makes those lips. very cheap and very good quality. i will be buying one very soon.

upon closer inspection of that picture, its a photoshop. you can kind of tell from looking at the wheels that something is off. then look inside the cockpit and you can see that the dash and pillar pod are on the right side.

not that low, but i was goin down a driveway kinda slope in a parkin lot and i guess i didnt angle enough....so it got caught and cracked


ill have a pix of it tomorrow i promise, lol
