I am sure this has been asked before, but I am a rookie. What tools do I need and is it very diffcult to do without damaging the paint?

hair dryer, peel it off with the fingers, then rub alcohal on it to take off the sticky shit.

Yeah....uhm....hair dryer/heat gun, razor blade/finger nails, alcohol/goo gone.....Not hard at all man. "Shave off"? LOL, peel off.
The "ECLIPSE" on the center piece is more difficult but still isn't that hard :shrug

i just peeled it off with my fingers and rubbed some goo gone in place.
