Whats up? I'm new to the board.
I have a 98 gs and I'm trying to remove the headlamp assembly. does anyone know how many bolts are holding
it in, and where they are. It's driving me crazy.

Ok, there is one bolt on top, two on the side (side facing the engine buy the light bulb covers) and one on the bottom under the bumper and it is a little bitch! The top one is no sweat. the sides are alittle harder because you have no room for our hand and tools I just use alot of extenders. The best way to get the bottom one off is to just brake it off. You dont need it anyway. The top one and the two sides are enough to hold it on. If you dont want to brake it off you have to take off the bumper to get it and taking off the bumper is a whole other bitch in its self.

it's not that hard to take off the front bumper. two bolts on each side and five(?) bolts in the center. it takes me about 2 minutes to take it off. don't brake off the bottom post though. it can have negative side-effects on the allignment of the beams. just be patient with it and it will work out. just look at it and think.
