Silicon is good if you plan to go turbo. The engine bay gets much hotter than before, so you don't want that stuff getting all crusty and all.

Silicone hose is great fo rany engine bay. It's not only heat that damages the rubber hoses it's age. The silicone lasts longer and doesn't dry rot easily so you shouldn't really get vaccum leaks with age.

I plan on getting the "fast and the furious" Hose Techniques kit. They have one that comes with a lot for 148. I have a $10 coupon I got at the Nopi tour stop I went to. If I have any left over, I will sell it to someone local. I am getting blue and silver.

You're going to spend WHAT?????

The Road Race Kit is $20, and comes with enough hose to do ALL the vaccuum lines. The Hose Techniques kit is for the 4G63, not the 420A. And $150 is an obscene price to pay for vaccuum line. If you want more than what came with the Road Race Kit you can buy legnth of colored silicone hose. You're going to pay enough to put hose on 7 people cars to do just your car? I wish I was the guys at Hose Techniques... to able to put that big a mark up on things and make that kind of proffit... damn I'd be rich.

Bottom line... There is no reason at all to buy a kit for $150 to get what you can get for $20.

Listen to Michael, don't spend $150 for a silicone hose kit. I bought the Larson Hose Kit for 2GNTs from Road Race Engineering for $20 and I still have hose left over! It will cover every vacuum hose you need to replace. They have blue, red, yellow, and black. I recieved mine within a week.

As far as wireloom, check out MachV. Their kit comes with 10 foot of 4 different sizes. I replaced every bit of wireloom in my engine bay with this kit. I still have loom left over! They have blue, red, purple, yellow and green. The cost is $16.00!
