has anyone ever made their own flares, if so how hard were they to make i've been thinking about this latley seem so simple that it dont make sense paying 50 bucks a peice

i have not made them...but i read a faq off a festiva board :-p

Pretty much all they did was shape some foam ot their desire and make a mold...i am sure you can fill in the rest from there.

Dont forget that when you are done your wheels are going to look rediculous unles you get wider rims or something, or space your wheels out mexican style :P

If you know nothing about fiberglass then read up on it IMO. You would need to decide whether a male or female mold would be best...i would say female IMO.

Read up dood...or search on here. If you have to ask questions like that, though, i would not suggest working with fiberglass.

i know how to fiberglass and make molds and shit but i just cant think of making a fender flare mold but i dunno i guess i'll think of something

use foam so you can cut it to be what you want....then bondo over it or sumthin and smooth it out....make a mold and make beeeeelions
