Hey guys I have a bit of a problem and was wondering if anyone could help me remedy this situation.

Ok on the passenger side window/lock control...the window control part of it doesn't work yet the door lock control does. Everything works on the driver side one as well except the one that controls the pass window, go figure...DUM DUM DUM!!!

Is there a fuse of is the cellinoid shot.

I have no idea...any help is greatly appreciated. tia

im not famalier with stock power options. i do know that there are relays for the windows and the locks...what i do not know however is if there is a relay for each side. i.e. 4 relays....2 on drivers side for functions on that side...and 2 on passenger for functions on that side. if this is the case, id say the relay for your pass side is shot. ovbiously its not a problem with the switches...id like to think they wouldent both go out for the pass side. thats what id check.

Ok I'm not sure if I read the question right but here is the answer as I understand it;
Ther is only one relay for both door's locks and another for both door's windows' switches. Now, I think you are saying something is wrong with the switch box on the passs side. If this is true your driver's side switches for the pass door will no worky. the message for the pass side windows/locks dont go straight to the actuators or whatever, they pass through the pass's side switch box.

do you hear anything (like the motor trying to work) when you press the button? as stated above, both work off of the same relay (and fuse). the passengers side wiring is a bit worse than the drivers side...stick your hand inside the front of the door and back into the cavity to feel it. i would suggest trying to play with that wiring a bit (jiggle it around) to see if there is a break somewhere.

bwahahaa id SOOOO be laughing if this were the case. i cant count how many times i got confused in my old car cuz i left the lock on

Let me put it this way...everything works except the power window controls whether I try from the driver side controls or the pass side controls. So are you saying there is one relay for both windows or each window has one relay? Because if each window has its own relay then the pass window relay is what the problem is. I hope I have clarified the problem a bit and I applogize for the confusion. I just need to get this working.

well, since it cant be your relays, id get a multimeter and start checking for shorted wires...and id check your pass side switch...to make sure its not shot. like someone above said, i guess even the signal from the drivers side goes through the pass side switch box before it is sent to the motor.

Whatever the problem is, it has to be all from the same source since neither the controls from the drvr nor the pass side work for only the windows. I just wish I knew more about it. I have been doing some researching on it but still don't get it.

There is a total of ONE (1) that serves both windows. NOT 2. Must be wiring since your drivers window works but not you pass's wndw since they are on the same relay.

I re-read the posts for info but can you tell me if the power window in the passenger door works in anyway? Is it possible the motor is bad? You don't mention how recently the fault occured or if it was intermittant before the failure. Can you confirm the motor is good/bad by temporarily powering it from inside the door?

dur, good call...id check the motor. here we are blabbing on about wiring and stuff when there is a good chance the motor is gone. take ur door skins off and check the wiring to make sure your getting power to the motor....if you are and its still not working youve found your problem...if your not getting power to them, start checking wiring and the switches. start from the motor and check your way back to the solenoid.
