20% all around...its perfect for me and cops generally don't make a fuss about it cuz they can still see in it.

I just got my car tinted today so people cant see my system thru the back of the hatch and wont be influenced to take it for themselves. I got Limo in the back and I did'nt know what the legal darkening is for the front. So I just got limo tints on the back quarter windows and the hatch. Got a lifetime warranty on the tint job and it all cost me $175.. Did I get ripped or is that a good price? Regardless I'm pretty happy, I'll have pics in a week when its finished setting and the bubbles on the edges are removed

Nah you didn't get ripped. My friend paid 215 for 20% around on his Eclipse. I'd say anywhere from 170-200 is a reasonable price.

the back and sides are limo, the fronts are legal enough

Fully reflective on back and side little windows. Unless you're 4 inches from it you can't see in. :) I've never been pulled over becuase of it either.

I got mine done for free since my parents shop does window tinting now. :thumbsup

i just got mine doen a couple weeks ago, but i have no pics yet. i paid 100 for 7% on the back and sides and 35% on the doors

dont forget to post interior color...my buddy worked at a tint shop for 2 years and he still can't stress that enough.....


I had 15% on my white gs w/gray interior and it was as dark as i'd care to go, had to roll the window down for left turns in no light at night.... probably going to get 20% on my black gst (gray interior).

for you MD boys/girls: HP racing in glen burnie is one of the best shops around, and for 50 bucks you can buy a piece of paper that's a coupon for cops. Basically, if you get pulled over, they take the tint off, you get it inspected, they put it back on for free in exchange for the coupon, but you gotta buy it with the tint. Not sure about the ticket though, I think that's all you....

also keep in mind radar detectors dont' work as well with higher quality tint, and you also get what you pay for to an extent.

Don't forget to "prep" your windows yourself and have them do it again when the car is there...you want to go to great pains to avoid crappy tint jobs, they're very difficult to fix.

also if you're in MD, stay away from "tint man" or anywhere stay away from too good to be true deals w/cheap tint. You'll spend a year trying to get it fixed.

I'm guessing this is Colorado Legal 27%. But it is purple, blurry, and peelings so I'm getting it redone sometime this summer...hopefully 27% on the doors, 20% on the quarters, and 15% on the rear.
