7201, vented hood owners.... Posted by koolade9, Sep-04-01 04:11 AM
are they tru open venting or do they have plexi covers?
if they are open, have you had any problems with corrosion after driving in the rain??
it seems like all the water would fall right in there and the ecu is so close to those vents...
am I missing something?

i saw kliipzracers up close and the rain hits the fans and radiator.. not even close to the engine. from what i could see there was no corroision from that... ;)

true openings and no probs whatsoever. but the hood is so light you gotta hold it up high so when it falls it latches.

i actually just put plexi behind my front vents. but rain fell where chris said...the ECU is no where near the vents.
