well, I had my 98GS now for about a year? i bought a cat back exhaust off my friend for $100 cause he wanted to get rid of it. he had custom piping done with a universal sebring muffler. that sebring muffler sounds like crap! it gets raspy and does like a farting noise horrible! Now i just want to get a muffler, i want something that sounds good and looks good too, i like the exhaust that are at an angle? PLEASE post pics of your exhaust

Hi I have Tenzo racing sports venturi exhaust. It makes the best tone I have ever heard, a little high on the price range but well worth the money! I called Tenzo and had them make mine for me but I'm sure you could get a shop near you to mandril bend the piping for ya, and just have them put the Venturi on the end. O make sure they give you 2.75in pipe.

will a 2.75in. pipe fit over the rear axle??

Buy an Apex'i N1 style muffler, it will give the look you want.

DUDE!!! That is a N1 Style exhaust, the Apex'i N1 and HKS Hiper exhausts exit at an angle like that. go to there web pages and check for yourself!

DUDE!!!! i know, the APEXI N1 angles, BUT i dont like the style. i saw a TANABE RACING MEDALLION style muffler on this eclipse GST, it looks way better than the N1 (IMO) and it was at an angle looked BADASS. I really liked how it looked, and trying to find one like that.

oh, I understand that they dont look exactly the same, but that is the closest thing I have ever seen to the tanabe muffler. I wish I could help.

its cool thanks for the help though. I saw this pic of a exhaust (tananbe RM style) on this civic. it looked nice and sounded cool. I asked the guy and he said it was a FOCUZ . Anyone heard of this exhaust. Were could i find one on the web?

They had to give it a bit more of an bend down at the rear of the axle for mine but it fit ok!

well i lowerd my choices to 2 mufflers. A focuz (racing Medallion style) or a Aerospeed (RM style) I know they both look the same but anyone know which muffler dounds better?

Does anyone know anything about the Focuz? I can get one for pretty cheap and was wondering if they are good and what they sound like.

Anyone, im planning on getting a muffler this weekend , and dont want anything thats sounds like signing bees.

AROSPEED tunable bomb. Sounds like ass with the silencer in. Nice low pitched growl with it out. Not too loud. Just nice. :)

Yeah, get the Arospeed Tunable Bomb and don't use the silencer. I picked mine up on eBay for $132 shipped and it sounds great... deep and LOUD!
