Hello, I just bought the spal power window kit for my 97 rs. I was wondering for those of you who have installed it, how exactly do you run the wires from the door to the car? Where do you hide the wire between the space when the door is open? Any feedback will help

i was one've the first to install a spal kit so i've given a lot of people tips on installing them. it's all there in the archives. running the wires is the hardest part of the install. the wires will be run inside of the little accordian boot thing you current see in your door jamb. that's where the wires for the speakers/locks/windows go. it's just a major PITA to run extra wires through that tiny rubber piece.

Thank You :), I did some searches its just that no one said anything about the wires and such when it came to the doors. I was also looking for some pics of the install but I can only find some on a talon not an eclipse :( . Do have any pics of your install? Thanks Again though

Gosh they are so00o dif :rolleyes . stupid talons :P .

err yeah...well just so ya know man...a talon is a rebadged eclipse with a different front fasca, rear bumper, tails, spoiler, and skirts.

but anyways, like marc said, run the wires through the boot....thats what its there for. it is a bitch and a half and i suggest using the coat hanger trick. there is a little connector (actually pretty big) thats wedges right near the opening. youll just have to pry that up and do your best to get the wire through the boot. that is the hardest part by far. the rest is cake. and for any other spal quetions, search around, i know iv answered in about half a dozen, and marc probably twice that. good luck
