well i dont have a passenger air bag b/c it was crap. so im lookin into getting a new one off ebay. but my question is are all the passenger air bags the same from 95-99 and rs-gsx. b/c i have a 95 and the one im looking at is from a 97.

YEs they are all the same except for color...there either black or grey mabey even tan...

I am going to be selling my airbag because I am molding in a tv there. So I will sell you mine here in a week or 2.

Not to be a putz here but from a certified repair tech and so you know... Selling used airbags is ILLEGAL. Much less shipping them anything other than ground. This is for safety concerns. I also realize that this is several months late...been off here for a while. Please, this kind of thing can get someone hurt or into serious trouble. You guys do far to much good to promote the better side of the sport compact scene to let this kind of thing stain it further.

well I never sold my airbag so no worries.

but what about the guys selling it on ebay? if its illegal why does ebay still auction it off?

bottom line is it isnt illegal.....It is illegal to ship it improperly but that is true with everything.

Well, Terry, You were indeed correct. I spoke too soon. The sale of used air bags is Legal. As for the transport by air, "It is actually up to each individual carrier and what they are authorized to ship in the way of Hazardous Material". I spoke with the FAA and DOT about that this morning. The above quote is what I was told. So I was incorrect all the way around. Seems it is Toyota's Policy to only ship by ground and not federal.
My apologies for the bum information. Now the record is straight though.

i have my passanger side im selling as well. Ive also replaced my steering wheel and selling my stock wheel with airbag too. (i sit to close and dont want that airbag going off in my face)...i have a 98 rs so if anyone needs one.. let me know=)

well my airbag is up for sale then if anyone wants it. Its black!
