I'm about to rebuild my bike and part of that is a new paint job. Now the right and left fairings are scratched up pretty bad but not broken or cracked. So I think I can just sand them down using progressively finer and finer paper until they are smooth then have them primed and painted.
They're the same material as body kits (urethane) so that's why I ask.

i dont see why you couldent :shrug people sand their interiors to paint and iv done a little sanding for some parts...go for it
