Where can i get the illuminated things that go on the hood (looks like where the windshield washer sprayers go)? How much do they cost?

I've driven by/in front of/along side cops in Irvine, Tustin, Santa Ana, Lake Forest (basically all of the Orange County area) and have yet to be pulled over. Mine are BLUE too, which is one of the colors they say will get the most attention because it may appear to some people that you are an emergency vehicle. I got pulled over for red front turn signals and I gots me a nice ticket for just that, the cop also said blue isn't legal, but I don't give an F.

Where'd you get yours from? Were they hard to install? They still allow you to use the washer sprayers..right?

I have them on th car. I had t cut the support under the hood to get the nut on the backside of the washer sprayer. it took a while to do. After all that, I wired them in with my aftermarket fog lighs, so I could cut them on or off with my fogs. I cut them off, then cut them on, then they burned out. I still have them on, because it looks pretty good anyways. Anyone have tips for installing them?

I got mine from Ebay, had to do the same thing as 9D9. You HAVE to cut the underside of the hood (not visible from outside) to fit the nut on the back of the sprayer. Yes you can still spray fluid with these. Wire them to your factory side markers, it's easy install all around.

what'd you use to cut the underside?

It was a friggin pain in the ass, in fact there's still a lot of clean up work I need to do to completely finish. But I basically used VERY HEAVY DUTY tin snips and hacked away at it. I also predrilled a few spots to make it easier to get a clean cut, that also reduced the amount of material I had to cut away. Right now the expanded hole is pretty mangled looking, I still have to file down the endges of the hole because they're pretty damn sharp and jagged.
One thing I'm going to look into is this little tool people use to cut the fender when installing aftermarket side markers, it's called the ripper or cutter or something short and stupid like that. I think it's like a small hand held scissor like tool. I dunno.

My dad has a garage for his auto tranny biz. I pulled in there. We used an electric jigsaw. We put the blade in the hole that is already there. Then marked wit a pencil and cut the saw blade a little shorter than the mark to prevent bumping the hood. How cn you wire these into a fog light switch and them work>? I grounded and my fogs run off a 12 V, so I hooked them up, cut the lights on. They worked. Badass. Then cut the switch off. Then back on to check that they responded, and they blew. Who ever has these, can you help me out?

You know the orange side marker in the stock front bumper that everyone changes to clear? Well I wired it to that. The wires were JUST long enough.

I might try that. I will get hiper white ones though. I had blue, and cops suck around here. I knew I would get pulled, so I wired to a switch, I guess it overloaded. Unless it has a transformer to increase voltage?
