I am swapping in rs/gs non power doors into my car...I have power windows...How did you mount the switches?? I really don't feel like making a bracket cuz i jus had to do that with the speakers. But i guess i could if i had to...Only reason i am doing the swap is cuz they are factory black doors and mine were wrecked from my ricer day painting incident. Any info, pics, and what have you is appreciated.

I've seen people mount their switches in the center cosole, so you don't have to run wires through the door and shit. BUT, I liked to have it on the door pannel. So, I just cut out the shape of the switches on the door pannel. simple as than!
I got my kit off of ebay for like ~$85 or something.
I'll post pics of what I have later...

did your car come with power windows, or did you add an aftermarket kit? when i added mine i just mounted my switches in the center console. only have to buy 2 switches, and i dont have to reach over with my left hand (which is what i drive with) and activate the window switch. my hand is already on the shifter, so not much trouble to reach it. i also did it because i think its just cool. iv always loved cars with the switches in the console. i had my RS non power panels on for a while....with the crappy little cap covering the hole...then i swapped in GS power door panels. i ended up sanding down the humps for the switches, and filling it with bondo. sand, prime, paint, clear. youd never know there were ever holes for the switches. i already had a painted interior...which is why i didnt mind doing this. for someone with a stock non painted interior this may not be the best idea. if you want pics iv got them....of both RS and GS door panel setups

that would be awesome...throw me some pics...especially of everything mounted in the center console. I kinda wanted to mount them where they are normally on the power equipped cars...i am gonna try to fab a bracket tomorrow.
My car came factory with power windows n whatnot...but my panels are in Connecticut along with all teh mounting stuff and i need to pass inspection in Virginia ASAP.
