70346, Does anyone know the quality of this bumper? Posted by sonikbewm, Apr-08-04 05:20 AM

Do any of you know if that bumper is actually an oem bumper or is it an oem aftermarket? Also, does anyone know what the fitment is like with his bumpers? I was going to buy a stock 97-99 rear from someone on this forum but he hasn't emailed me back in quite a few days and I was planning on picking it up this weekend. TIA!

I don't know if I'm going to change to 97-99 skirts. I kind of like the 95-96's.

Oh. Yeah the 95-96 skirts aren't that bad and regular folks can't even tell the difference. Only way I'll buy 97-99 skirts is if they're a complete set and painted black.
Back on topic, at first I thought it was an OEM aftermarket, but their description says it's from a Mitsu dealer. Kinda odd they'd get them from a dealer only to sell them way below list price. You might wanna email them to be 100% sure.

He emailed me when he saw this post so I'm going down to Oklahoma City to pick up his stock rear.

Yup...going to OKC and trying to fit a rear bumper into the back of an eclipse and then next weekend going to Kansas City for the meet. The eclipse is going to get a lot of miles put on her in the next week or so.

you can fit 3 bumpers in your car w/ no passenger, just have to remove your rear strut if you have one and lower the back seats, I did it and still could see out of my review and quarter mirror on both sides :) If his price is too high, I have a silver 98 one that I'll let go for about 130, no scratches either, g'luck
