These tail lights are my favorite, and I finally got them off of Ebay. Brand new for $100 shipped. Anyway, they only have 2 bulbs in the housing instead of 3, and they blink twice as fast as before when you put on the turn signals. Both sides! All bulbs are fine. Any ideas? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2468232758

Probrably cause the eclipse are made to blink with a sertain amount of lights and voltage...now you just cut the voltage down and less a light so of course it's gonna blink faster...

did you take the lights out??? If so then our lights blink faster when there is a bulb out/missing..that would prolly be why.

The stock tails have 3 bulbs. 1 for the brake and 2 spliced together for the turn signals. These were 1 for brake and 1 for turn signal.(They come with a custom tail light harness that plugs into the stock plug which eliminates one of the bulbs) All bulbs were manually checked.

Thats what I figured, thanks for the input...and Scirio, how is this thread useless without pics installed...lol...you just wanna see them on the car. I'll try to take pics tomorrow. It's been raining here. I didn't put the middle section in because I saw it on another local eclipse and didn't like it. I kept my painted center piece.

the outside bulb's are only marker lights....they serve no function and dont even illuminate untill the headlights are turned on. the only bulbs that are used in directional and braking are the 2 inside ones....and they are both used in unison. now...if you did remove one of the bulbs in the inner 2 then yes...it will blink faster cuz both of them are supposed to work together...so it behaves exactly like it does when you burn out a bulb.

can I buy the "third" bulb socket off of you? Mine is all ghetto/duct taped (the one nearest the rear quarter/closest to the sharp end of light)

Thanks for all the input guys, I feel better now. Sorry Ghettoraid, but I'm keeping my stock ones in expectance of one of the million local bad drivers here to nail me one of these days. Oh, and it was still pouring all day today...someone else has them installed in their sig..I'll get pics soon.
