69871, Front bumper advice......undecided Posted by Ryan_Hes, Mar-30-04 07:25 PM
I am undecided whether I should keep my front bumper or not. My car looks good...but Im just not entirely happy with it.
Do you guys think a stock front end with the RMDSM lip painted to match would look good with my sides. And would the lip hang low enough and rest the same height as my skirts. (Currently my front is just a tad higher than my skirts....it bugs the shit out of me)
I know it's "my car and if I like it go for it", but I need some feedback. If someone could photoshop a stock front with RMDSM lip painted to match I'd be thrilled....
Or...make me another suggestion for the front.... This is purely about the front end- the rear will come later I dont care about that now.

i think that combo would look super nice..... i got 99 front bumper with lip and 99 rear bumper....but my sides are 96-96 and are to high......arrrgh, still lookin around for some 97-99 skirts for cheap, IMO your car would look clean as fuck with a front lip due to the fact that the lip will prolly be a lil lower than your side skirts

I think a Drift front w/ a carbon fiber or aluminum splitter would look tight as hell.

stock front, rsdsm lip, you cant get any sexier than that. And to repeat what was said up top, the bumper/lip will be a little lower than the skirts but thats ok, it will still look perfect

Is the RMDSM lip very durable? I wouldn't care about scraping, I could touch it up as much as I'd like. I only care if it would actually break.
I would scrape it often....at my driveway...but does it take a lot to actually break the lip? I would never scrape at high speeds....only slowly rolling into my driveway. And I wouldnt care because the bumper would be stock.

You can buy my Wings West Front Bumper. Not too low, but very cool looking. Only $230 shipped. Email me for plenty of pics. :P
Naw, if I were you I'd keep what I have or go with another aftermarket front, not stock with a breakable lip.:nono

I love the way your car looks right now! As for the lip...the daily scraping won't hurt it...I scrape mine every day and have no problems :thumbsup

I am going with teh OEM eclipse front with a lip...i think a sinsei front would look damn sexy on your car...It comes down low and it matches the curves of the car pretty well...second choice to that is Buddy Club 2
Either way...your car is damn sexy...you could go with a blitz front and she would still be beautiful :shrug
