Has anyone ever done it and how does it look.

never done it myself...it looks absolutely beautiful....however, they will crack over time...Think of it this way. You when you step on teh gas your car twists (i believe the term is called...torque??). So by moldingthe sideskirts in with fiberglass, a twist will, over time, cause teh spot where the skirts are molded in to crack.

Again, it looks beautiful, but on a daily driver i would advise against it.

Always mold sideskirts. If you don't, it usually looks like shit. If it cracks, get it fixed. If you don't want to have to fix it, get out of the game and don't do body mods.

He's talking about stock side skirts not body kits.

um...the chasis doesnt doesnt twist and flex as much as you might think under hard acceleration. its the turns where the body feels tension, rip on a turn real hard and yea, you might crack a mold or something. i highly doubt it would happen just by accelerating :shrug

either way there is flex...moreso under the turns as you said...All i know is all teh body d00ds back in CT i used to talk to hated doing it cuz it was a waste of their time. For a show car, yeah its a damn fine mod...on a daily driver its nice for only so long...one time bottoming out and kiss the mold job good bye IMO :shrug
