i got bored a few weeks ago so i decided to move every "not as important as the big 3" (EGT oil pressure and boost) gauge/controller into the glove box. in the profec-b, timer, fuel pressure and water temp gauge they went.






it's made of a thin piece of wood. i made the angles using some thin cardboard wrapped around the gauges as a form, then i taped it into the holes at an angle. on the bondo went. i sanded, sanded, and sanded until my hands were pratically bleeding then i wasted an entire can of black paint and half a can of clear coat on this project.

it didn't turn out perfect, but i'm happy with it.

no, i'm not going to make it for anyone. i don't want to build another of these damn things, ever. too much time involved.

It's the same symbol from the Talon's rear bumper badge. Not my thing, but still props for the work.

nice work! looks like it was vacuum-formed plastic. i sure hope that bondo doesnt start cracking on you, but you should be safe if youve got moderate temps and you dont offroad in the eclipse, lol.

another one of the weird things that came with the car... i should list the rice mods that came with the car :P

1. interior plastic trim painted green (some still green)
2. weird green eagle symbol on airbag (still there)
3. green spray painted late model GST/GSX wing (still there, repainted it)
4. obnoxious muffler tip (long gone, fell off on a rotary)

Looks good to me boss! I have that same logo in a ziploc baggie somewhere. I might just try to incorporate it into some kind of inner rice between now and the shootout myself.

yeah thats awesome....whats "rice" about not wanting your dash cluttered and/or your shit in plain view stolen? i'm planning on moving everything I don't need to see all the time in real time, down there this summer, as theft is a big concern of mine....
