Here is the X, what would be some good looking rims on this car.
If you guys can find some deep dish wheels, I would love some of those on . . .
here is what I was looking at last night.




I need some good wheels. I'm willing to drop like $1500 on a set
of wheels here, so give me some good suggestions. I'm also looking
for 19s, but 18s will do too.

I also wanted something in a gunmetal with a polished lip, but I couldn't find anything I liked.

Have you thought of getting some lightweight rims? I don't know how crazy you drive, but with AWD, having a nice set of wide, but light wheels, can be really good. You could probably get some light weight 18's for under 1500.

I like these also, i want them bad!

I think you should go with the ones you photoshopped.

I think you should keep the stock GSX rims. A friend of mine has a 98 GSX though with the first rims pictured. Ill send you some pics of it.

The ones you photoshopped look good, also the second ones in your initial thread.

For me its a toss up between the photoshoped ones and the the 1st ones. On 2nd ones, the spokes seem too thin for your car just cause its a dark color, the 1st ones may fill in some more of that empty space you got but again I dont know how think the spokes are on the 1st ones. You dont want to over do it with the thickness of the spokes either. Its really your call.

Hehe, thanks Blizare. I wouldn't exactly call them deep dish, I think they're more like 'medium dish' or something... the lip is 2.25" wide. Anyway, I like the pic Flyinesi posted on his second post, but like someone else said the spokes are kinda thin and you're gonna have to get bigger brakes to fill up all that empty space.

Check out wheelguyz.com they have a pretty large selection as well.

those rims you photoshopped on your car is the same ones on mine.. except mine are the generic version made by Exel. here's the pic of them n my car.

Yeah, The photoshoped one look real nice. As long as it isnt chrome its all good imo. And after you get the new rims you want your gonna go ahead a sell your old rims to me for a nice and low price right?

Oh well... Worth a try. But yeah the photoshop rims are nice but maybe something with a some fatter spokes. The others leave a lot to fill.

I am iffy about the polished lip. I also wanted covers over the lug holes. Anyone have any other good wheel suggestions? I just don't like that universal crap.

I know they're high-dollar, but does anyone out there have a set of Volk Racing Te-37's on their ride? I'd love to see that... that's what I'm saving up for.

Hell yeah, Those Volks are the most badass rims I'v ever seen. Especially the limited edition silver ones. They got it all; there light, strong, and look hot as hell. :eek
