Wet sand it really good, 400 is the last one you should use right before you paint it. A couple coats of primer would help too. Do lots of light even coats, don't rush it...

Try to pop the clear part off and paint the inside of it so you get a 100% perfect paint job, Or you can get some vinyl and just cover it that works great its what I did.

Do most people put vinyl on the center piece or do they paint it? If it is painted is there any way to do it by yourself? If its vinyl how do you get it to stick to the piece, by the way my car is the stock dark grey (will that be difficult to find)? Thanks, sorry for all the questions:D

where did you get clear tails for a talon? dont forget to take the TALON lettering off if you can because it looks like ass when people just paint over it. -JASON
