68723, quick question on prepping... Posted by ajcfalcon, Mar-14-04 09:58 AM
i read through the search and got almost all the information i need, however when i fitted my fiber glass front it cracked and chipped in the corner where it meets the inside corner of the headlight. in some of the threads i read, it said you can fix this with "bondo". what is bondo? where do i get it? how much is it? what do i do to it after i bondo it? im having the shop prep it and paint it, so should i not worry about this and let them do it? or should i do it myself?
TIA!!

After that many questions i'd say have the shop fix it.
Bondo can be bought at any auto store. Hell wal-mart carries it. It's a body filler. You have to mix it, apply it, let it cure, then shape it down with a file and sandpaper.
