68386, Interior Pics: It's Progressing Posted by 95 Mitsu, Mar-09-04 10:59 AM
I pretty much gutted my interior last fall, then it got too cold to mess with. Here lately we've had some decent weather so I'm trying to put my car back together. Here are a few pics of the new racing seats, the back seat covers, and the beginning of my red/black scheme.
I'm going to pull the dash eventually and paint it black, I also have brand new black carpet sitting here waiting to go in. Some of the pics are kinda shitty, sorry.

Also, the red/yellow is about to be done with. I have sides and a rear waiting to go on, then its time for a new paint job.

interior looks good man. Just wondering if you're planning on painting your car all red? I think that it might look a lil bit better as all red, not that it doesn't look good now. IMO it would just look better one color.

Yea I will definitely keep you guys updated. I'm also going to paint it all red. The only thing with yellow is the sides, rear, and hood. I just bought some sides off Remy and I have a rear bumper sitting in the garage. I also just got a gutted cat & muffler off Eclipzgst, and I sold my turbo spoiler so my car is going to be a lot different for me.
I'm not sure if my banshi front will look good with invader sides though, so I might end up looking for something else. I'm going to get the black carpet in as soon as I get some more warm weather. I'll take some pics and let you all know how it goes.
Thanks for the compliments, I'm trying to make it as clean as possible.

Oh I forgot, the rear seat covers I bought off someone from this www.2GNT.com website? :) He had them custom made for his Spyder and they were made wrong. I think I got them for like $50 shipped.

how bad were the DAD seats to put in?? What, if anything, did you have to get custom or alter??

I kinda got lucky with the seats. You have to get brackets made. I just got lucky and got some tim97rs was selling from his DADs. You use the sliders and everything, you just need to get brackets made. When I got my brackets from him, they bolted right in.

I was the first to have those seat covers on my old gs. I bought them off a ebay but the company I bought them from no longer exist. :( The covers fit really good.

Great job. Those seat covers look real hot, anyway you can make them tighter... they are kinda baggy in some spots? Any idea where that guy got them made? Thanks and keep up the good work.

Like Remy said, the place that made them is out of business so they are no longer being made, at least not by them. As for the baggy parts, there's really not a lot that can be done. It doesnt look bad enough to worry about.

I am in the process of painting the interior, but yea, I'm doing it myself.
As for the sub box, if I knew how to mess with fiberglass, I'd already have one. I've checked out a couple different things online, I might try it out sometime. There is a walk through somewhere that is excellent.
PS- AIM would be a lot easier lol.
