Should i go with a carbon fiber hood, or stick with the stock red with the custom hood scoop. Your thoughts, thanks. let me know what you think:

i saw stick with the stock. not many like that just make it functional and it would be sweet like as you ease on the throttle it opens up. i like it

carbon fiber is starting to become the trend....i say stick with the stocker :thumbsup

i doubt theres gonna be any function in that hod scopp...

ive heard even sti scopps (which are like 4 inches) lose functionality after 60mph

besides, what about rain getting on your ECU and sparies?

There was a custom Fiberglass dual cowl hood on ebay recently last month that i saw in blue. The vents were non functional and it wasnt a mass produced product; i dont think the designers were planning on making it. The hood looked real nice too, kinda like the 'good hood' version except with dual vents. When i emailed them and asked them if they could make the vents functional or make any more for other dsm buyers, their answer was no. pretty stupid imo.
